About Sandridge Stables
Sandridge Stables was founded in 1985 by Tricia and Evan Dahms as a small stables on 5 acres just outside of Rocky Mountain House, Alberta. From a 4 stall unheated barn and outdoor arena with just a few students in those early years, the stables has grown tremendously. In 2006 Evan and Tricia purchased a new farm near Sherwood Park, Alberta. It features an indoor arena and heated 20 stall barn on 30 acres of beautiful property easily accessible from Edmonton, Sherwood Park, Leduc and surrounding communities.
Sandridge students have been very successful wherever they competed, whether in the eventing world, jumpers or dressage. Highlights of Sandridge successes include wins at events throughout western Canada and the U.S., major championships and year end awards along with wins in the jumper ring at such prestigious venues as the well known Spruce Meadows. As a Equine Canada Level 3 Coach, Tricia has been involved for many years in the coaching certification program, preparing candidates for exams and as an evaluator.
Sandridge horses have competed throughout North America with excellent results. Two of them have been selected to International Equestrian Teams. At all levels of equestrian sport, Tricia has helped to create numerous successful horse/rider partnerships.
Sandridge Stables has created a reputation of integrity and excellence over the years and is looking ahead to the future to establish the new farm as one of the premiere facilities in the community. With the new all-weather outdoor arena in operation and schooling cross-country jumps being built, it has quickly become a facility of choice for local horse owners.
